Twelve Days of Christmas Worship Service
For Christmas Day or the First Sunday after Christmas
About once every seven years, Christmas Day is on a Sunday. Christmas morning worship can be a tender way to start a day of merry-making. For clergy-types, however, following the high expectations of the Advent season and Christmas Eve, there may be little energy for crafting worship.
If you are thinking, “Holy moly, Christmas Day is a Sunday and so is New Year’s Day!!” we offer this take-and-bake worship service, based upon the twelve days of Christmas. This service has all the ingredients for a creative, no-sermon service and can easily be plugged in on Christmas Day or the first Sunday after Christmas. With many of the worship leader parts scripted, it’s easy to hand off to congregational leaders.
