Doctor of Ministry Scholarships
The purpose of the Doctor of Ministry Scholarship is to further theological education in congregational ministry and to support the re-energizing of pastors through higher education. Scholarships, in the amount of $1,000/person, are awarded to pastors who are pursuing a DMin degree while serving in congregational ministry. The scholarship may be awarded up to three times per person. Applicants must reapply each year. (Applicants must live or serve a congregation within OPSF’s thirteen-state service area.)
Awards are provided on a rolling basis until funds have been expended for the year. Prior Doctor of Ministry Scholarship recipients will be considered in the third and fourth quarters of the year to allow new applicants the first opportunity for funding.
View the application instructions, including necessary documents. You will be asked to upload proof of enrollment provided by your seminary’s registrar. Please, obtain your proof of enrollment in PDF form prior to starting the application.
