The best seminarians, pastors and Commissioned Ruling Elders have been good mentors to others because they received good mentoring themselves.

“Saying we can no longer afford an educated clergy is like saying hospitals can no longer afford doctors, schools can no longer afford teachers or construction companies can no longer afford engineers,” wrote one denominational theological education leader recently.

This vital service for our clergy is what we are all about. We must answer the call to support those who lead our Church and to do this we need your help. Your donation will support Seminary Scholarships, Doctor of Ministry Scholarship Assistance and Lifelong Learning grants.

You may also choose to extend your influence beyond your lifetime by including in your will gifts of assets to the Foundation’s endowment fund. By contributing to the endowment, you will help ensure the future of churches and its leaders for decades to come. In an effort to provide supplemental financial support in perpetuity for the Foundation’s mission, gifts to the Foundation are managed by professional investment advisors under the direction and supervision of our dedicated and knowledgeable Board of Directors. Bequests are free of estate tax and can substantially reduce the amount of your assets claimed by the government. You can give needed support for OPSF by simply including the following words in your will: I give, devise and bequeath to the Omaha Presbyterian Seminary Foundation, 7101 Mercy Road, Suite 216, Omaha, Nebraska 68106-2616 (insert amount being given here) to be used to support the ministry of Omaha Presbyterian Seminary Foundation. It is recommended that a lawyer help in drafting or amending a will.

Please take time to explore the various areas of need and prayerfully consider how you can assist our clergy and churches today and in the future.

 Thank you for giving generously!
